BeAM@CAROLINA Introduction

Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro

1-minute promotional and informational video introducing the BeAM Makerspaces at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, featuring scripting, filming, editing, and motion graphics.

I produced this video for the BeAM Makerspaces, introducing it to a broad audience, including prospective students, campus visitors, donors, and peer institutions interested in maker education.

I wrote the script and storyboard, then filmed across BeAM's campus locations, capturing the spaces, equipment demos, and community members at work to show how BeAM supports coursework, research, entrepreneurship, and personal projects.

Footage and narration were edited in Premiere Pro, moving from wide establishing shots into people at work, then close-ups of tools, closing on the full BeAM staff to put faces to the team behind the spaces. Motion graphics, including a new logo animation, were built in After Effects.
